From April 24 to 27, the first training for future mentors was held in Kamianets-Podilskyi, together with the Association for Mentoring Children and Youth!

12 volunteers from the Better Future Foundation from four regions – Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr and Ternopil – are immersed in intensive training and practice.

For 4 days, we looked at the psychology of orphans, studied methods of establishing contact, and sought to develop the skills necessary for effective mentoring. Role-playing games, teamwork, and the experience of the trainers all opened up new horizons and helped us understand the essence of mentoring.

Our trainers, Olena Shulga and Tetiana Serdiuk, shared not only valuable knowledge but also their own experience gained over many years of mentoring children from orphanages.

At the end of our journey, each volunteer received a certificate of successful completion of the course “Individual Mentoring” (theory and practice).

Our goal is to become an important support for those who need our support and understanding. Let’s help children from orphanages find their way to success and a happy future!
